What's in my purse. Everyday essentials and organization tips for mature woman. Organization is important in many areas of life. It is important because it allows us to find balance, be less forgetful and stay on top of things. It also saves us time...yes time! Purse organization is no different. In fact, as mature women, it is a necessary step in the process to simplify and improve our life.
When was the last time you heard your phone ring inside your purse, you scrambled and looked but could not find it...or you reached the checkout line at the store but after searching inside your purse, you could not locate your credit card which was buried some place at the bottom. To make matters worse, your lipstick top came off and now your purse has an unsightly stain that cannot be removed. Yes, purse organization is indeed a necessary step in our goal to make life more manageable. So, what exactly do I have in my everyday purse? What are my essential must haves? How do I keep my purse tidy and organized? Let's find out.
First of all, I'll start with one of my everyday purse options. My Coach Tote is not only durable, stylish and well made but it is also affordable, just a little over a hundred dollars.
...and now for the organization. This is something that is oh so important...an absolute must have in my attempt to organize the inside of my purse...Drumroll...This purse organizer insert is great for those who are constantly searching in their bags for keys, lipstick, or cell phones. They help keep all your gear handy and protect handbags from accidental spills. If you change bags regularly, a purse organizer makes switches easier to maneuver. This organizer has so much space and pockets inside as well as on the outside, great for those everyday essentials.
Next in my purse is a coordinating Coach card case with key chain. It is just the right size to include your drivers license, credit cards, change or dollar bills. It fits perfectly in one of the pockets in the purse organizer.
Next, is something I will not leave home without...N95 masks. They fit inside nicely in the pocket of my purse organizer.
My cosmetic bag is surely in my purse organizer, filled with some of my favorite essential items.
Inside the cosmetic bag, I usually carry a couple of my preferred lip products like, Ruby Woo (MAC) and Caramelt (NYX). I also carry a body cream such as Clinique Happy and a sample size fragrance in the same scent for those moments when I need to freshen my fragrance. I must confess, Happy by Clinique makes me Happy!
Another essential item that I carry in my purse is lemon essential oil. For me, the smell of lemon is very soothing and calming. In fact, it has been proven that lemon essential oil is a powerful calming and mood-improving agent. It is said to be more effective at relieving stress than other essential oils such as lavender and rose. So, if I am having an unpredictable moment, I simply smell my lemon essential oil for an instant mood lifter.
