I'm over 50 and these are must have accessories to compliment and upgrade your look this season. Styling a look is not only about the clothes. A well styled look is often not complete without the perfect accessories. There are a few key accessories I rely on and are on trend to help take my wardrobe to the next level and I wanted to share them with you.
PEARLS
You can officially add pearls to the list, definitely a popular trend from the 80s and 90s that is making a comeback in 2022. In case you haven't noticed, 2022 is officially the year of bringing back and updating past fashion trends, and to no surprise, we've spotted pearls on the must have list.
There is very little that can match the shimmery perfection of a pearl. They can give subtle sophistication or glamorous excitement. I have a few pearl pieces in my jewelry collection but just recently purchased a beautiful and simply classic pearl necklace. I cannot wait to wear it. Here are a few more choices.

BOLD STATEMENT EYEWEAR
Next on the list of accessories to upgrade your look this season are, bold or statement eyewear. Whether you are looking to dress your outfit up or dress it down, purposefully selected eyewear can make a difference.
Introducing the Dior oversized square 56mm square sunglasses, finished with CD logo accents at the temples. They are available in black and shiny beige. Other features include 100% UV protection, solid lenses, adjustable nose pads, case and cleaning cloth included, acetate and made in Italy.
If you want that sophisticated look on a budget, the next pair of sunglasses are a great choice. The highly rated Amazon sunglasses are perfect luxury look-a-likes but available at an affordable price. I cannot tell you how many times I have misplaced my reading glasses, more than I care to mention. How about adding these cool, blue light blocking, spring hinge readers for women (or men) with an anti-glare filter, and they are oh so lightweight. CHAIN BELTS
The next must have accessory to upgrade your look this season are chain belts. I have always loved a good chain belt, so for me, they never went out of style. However, after Chanel and other top designers featured them on the runway, they are now the must have accessory to add to your wardrobe.
This first belt by Gucci is antique gold-toned, has a distinctly retro feel, recalling the loose belts of the 1990s. The engraved Interlocking G charm is the defining element of the design, acting as a subtle nod to the House Founder. This style can be worn at the waist.
This silver-toned braided chain belt decorated with metallic butterflies will make any outfit stand out.
BIG TOTE BAG
Next on the list of must have accessory items to update your looks is the big tote bag. For the past few years, I became accustomed to carrying the bare minimum when going out. I generally reached for a small card case which was big enough to carry only a few necessities such as my id cards and a credit card. I am back to coordinating my looks with my bags and big tote bags are "it" for me. I especially love that there are so many unique styles popping up for the new season.
