7 DAYS 7 OUTFITS FROM MY FAVORITE RETAILERS, LULUS AND H&M AFFORDABLE STYLE TIPS FOR MATURE WOMEN
It is that time of year, the time to make changes in my wardrobe. Time to remove the last of the summer pieces and continue to add fall and winter items. It is also that time (although any time is a good time) to go shopping for affordable and classy outfits. As a "professional shopper"...I am a fashion blogger, so I guess I can claim that title. Anyway, as someone who truly enjoys shopping and a good sale, I recently purchased some amazing pieces to add to my wardrobe from two of my favorite retailers-Lulus and H&M. So sit back, relax and l hope you enjoy what I wore...7 days, 7 outfits and where I wore the outfits, all perfect for fabulous women over 50. Day One: Night Out with the Girls
What I Purchased: Black Faux Leather Halter Top (Lulus)
This halter top instantly grabbed my attention. I must admit initially I considered it a bit edgy for my taste but that was a fleeting thought. I looked beyond my doubt and considered all of the possible ways I could style this top. Other than the way I am wearing it now, how about adding a white long sleeve cotton shirt underneath the halter top! You can even wear it opened and again with a top underneath. So you see why this was the outfit to wear out with the girls! Shop This Look
Day Two: Jazz at the French Embassy
What I Purchased: Shiny Wrap Skirt
Grey Sleeveless Top
Black Pumps
Who doesn't like a shimmery wrap skirt? To complement the high waist skirt, I purchased a simple top from H&M (super, super affordable!). This was the perfect look to wear to my event.
Day Three: Wellness Speaking Presentation
What I Purchased: White Front Wrap Top
All it takes is one elegantly designed top and you can bring distinction to a look. This white top was just the right look. It was perfect to wear to my speaking presentation where the topic was, Purposeful Living.

Look Four: Meeting with a Client
What I Purchased: Plaid Balloon Sleeve Top
There was something about this top that made me notice it, dismiss it and finally purchase it. I thought it would be the perfect top to wear to work. Although it looks like a crop top (no, i do not wear crop tops), I prefer to wear it with high waisted trousers or a skirt.
Day Five: Zoom Meetings
What I Purchased: Sweater Drawstring Pants

Zoom meetings are here to stay. However, many find it difficult to determine what to wear. It is important to represent yourself in a manner that is always professional with a business/casual outfit. Think of business/casual as two looks. One of course is the business look, say for instance a button down shirt, a pair of trousers and a blazer. To make the look more casual, simply remove the blazer and perhaps undue a button on the shirt. Overall, the key is to layer your clothing so that you have the option to remove a key piece and make the look casual.
Day Six: Out to Dinner
What I Purchased: Rib Knit Dress Day
This next dress is oh so simple but leaves a big impression. This body hugging ribbed knit dress has a mock neck if zippered or if you are daring, wear it unzipped.
Day Seven: Shopping with my Daughters
What I Purchased: Pink Oversized Button Down Shirt
Boyfriend Jeans
My final look is this pink oversize shirt...such a trend for fall. This shirt can be styled in many ways, here I added a gold belt, jeans and a pair of pumps.
